Keen Chance Terminal (GZ) Ltd. ('KCT') (formerly known as 'Miaotou Terminal Co., Ltd.') is a major port in Huangpu of Guangzhou, South China and was approved by the State Council of PRC and with an investment capital of RMB 500 million. Scope of businesses include:- investment and development of terminal, godown, container shipment, stevedoring, ship agent, cargo agent etc. We provide our wide range services of terminal, shipping, warehousing business with advanced system and equipment. Our management is formed by a team of qualified and experience professionals who are good in international shipping. The terminal is well equipped with advanced technology and equipment and machineries and the management team is modernized who has accumulated extensive experience in the industry and aim at providing the best service to customers.

KCT locating in the Huangpu Port of Guangzhou, the Pearl River Delta (in the centre of southern China) is an entrepot of economy, culture, finance and trading. There is well transportation network, such as highway and national railways, which can connect to most of the major cities in China. It is an ideal distributing center for import and export via sea and land transportation.

The total area of the terminal is about 200,000m2, where comprising 150,000m2 of open area, 40,000m2 of warehouse, export supervisory warehouse, bonded warehouse and a 30,000 tons edible oil tank and possess a licence of IMO 3 danger goods. The coastal-length of terminal is 300m, and 8 meters depth. The berths are capable to berth for 10,000 dwt vessels. The facilities include:- rail-mounted transfer cranes, quaryside cranes, forklifts and vehicular stakes. The annual handling capacity of terminal is 300,000 TEU, 2 million tons bulk cargoes and 1 million tons edible oil respectively.

KCT has the following departments:-

MARKETING DEPARTMENT

Marketing and Sales Department :

This department is managed by a group of logistics and marketing promotion experts. It operates 24 hours a day to handle customers' enquiries and provide accurate and up-to-date information such as tariff which is set base on the market benchmark. Our aim is to offer efficient wide range services with international standard to every customer.
Marketing Analysis Department :

Responsible for research studies relating to shipping industry such as regulations, market trend etc., analysis customer database, and collect the information to respective department so as to enable them to adjust market strategy, tariff to meet the customers' need.
Advertising Planning Department :

Responsible for advertisement of the company businesses, promoting the company image, coordinate communication with Marketing Analysis Department and Business Development Department so as to implement effective promotion program from time to time. It also assists to promote integrity of staff and transparency of the company.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Business Management Department :

Maintain the overall operation such as start from the transfer of goods from customers for delivery to the arrival of destination of the goods. It assists respective department to maintain good communication so as to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information to customers once required.
Bills Department:

Arranging all necessary shipping documents for the principals, which includes slot booking and declaration documents. It also keeps close contact with the Business Management Department and Declaration departments during the cargo handling.
Customs Clearance Department :

The terminal provides services such as customs clearance, port health control, quality standard and measure inspection, port administration etc.

TERMINAL OPERATION DEPARTMENT

Coordination Department :

Coordinate transportation operation (both sea and land), ensure and monitor the smoothness of 24 hours operation of the terminal, maintain and coordinate communication amongst shippers, drivers, goods owners and port officers, regulate loading and unloading operation, endeavor to achieve the best economic benefit at the lowest cost.
Bills Department:

Arrange operation of equipment and machinery of the terminal, ensure the shipments are handled smoothly. Safety control, maintain routine check-up for all equipment and good working condition.

The equipment is capable of handling 300,000 standard TEU per year. All operations are under the instruction of Operation Department.

Warehouse Management Department :

The area of warehouse is 40,000m2. It provides bulk cargo collection, distribution and storage services and internal and external bulk carriers handling services, assist shipper and goods owners for cargo transfer. The depot area is 150,000m2 who serves for containers loading and unloading, storage and delivery, import and export bonded warehousing, and supervisory. It provides an overall logistics management service.
